My Husband Reconnected To A High School Ex And Abandoned Me

My husband and I have been married for 15years now, but challenges in my marriage has been since three years now and a strange woman is behind it all.

I've not stopped praying. As a matter of fact, it was actually this challenge that made me grow strong in prayers and made me grow in my spiritual life. But it has persisted and continues to challenge my faith.

My husband (who is once an ordained pastor) has abandoned his call, left me and the children on the 27th of January this year. His Aunty who has a hotel in the same town where we live and who is also divorced offered him accommodation in the hotel and that's where he has been living till now.

Sometimes he will come to visit the children and tell me he will soon come back, but up till now, nothing has changed. There is nothing I have not done but physically to make him change his mind. In prayers, I have spent nights and days praying and separating him and the strange woman, yet they are still on it.

This is a lady he dated over 20yrs ago in high school.
She got married 18 yrs ago but has not produced a child for her husband. They started having problems and then she and my husband reconnected again on Facebook in 2012. Ever since then, I have never felt the attention of my husband again as a wife.

The lady has abandoned her own husband since last year June and she and my husband are planning to get married. He is insisting on being separated from me, and that if I don't want it that way then he can give me a divorce to free me.

This is what he said just last night. He abandoned me and our kids and travelled to spend the Christmas with this strange woman.

Please help me in prayers to save my marriage.

In a world of filth, I will stay pure; surrounded by lies I will speak the truth; where hopelessness abounds, I will hope in God: where revenge is easier, I will bless instead of curse; and where the odds are stacked against me, I will trust in God’s faithfulness.

I am a STANDER, and I will not acquiesce, compromise, quarrel or quit. I have made the choice, set my face, entered the race, believed the Word, and trusted God for all the outcome.

I will allow neither the reaction of my spouse, nor the urging of my friends, nor the advice of my loved ones, nor economic hardship, nor the prompting of the devil to make me let up, slow up, blow up, or give up ’til my marriage is healed.
