My Husband Is An Elder In Church But Cheating And Seeking Divorce.

My husband who was an elder in the church has been having an affair since July.

It became public in October and he has left the church and has asked for a divorce. I am standing on God's word and while I cannot stop him from filing, I have let him know that he has no biblical grounds to divorce me. I am bound to him until he dies, that the scriptures say I am to be reconciled unto him or remain single and that I will honor the covenant I entered into until he draws his last breath.

Please join me in prayer that he first return to covenant relationship with God and then to me.
