Husband Of 37 Years Left Me For His High School Girl Friend.

My husband and I are going through a divorce. His business was going downhill and he was having a mid life crisis. He got in touch with his high school girlfriend who was his first love. They met out of state on a few weekends during the year. I knew he was having an affair but I couldn't catch him.

He stopped interacting with the family. Would go out to dinner by himself. Take his phone to the bathroom with him. One day he left it on the counter. Bingo. I was in. I saw a text from her. I confronted him. He was angry. Both kids begged him to give her up. No way was he going to do that.

He moved out 3 days later. He said we would go to counseling. Instead he headed straight to his attorney so we are in the process of divorce. At our deposition he said his counselor suggested we work it out but he wasn't sure if he wanted it. I find out later her that he spent that weekend with her. Again I'm devastated.

Please pray God can open his heart to us.
